Chia Breakfast Bowl

Chia Breakfast bowl has been a new adventure for me. It’s delicious, fresh and so easy to make. I make this once a week to spice things up a bit.

You can make it the night before and have it ready for the morning. A perfect breakfast meal if you are looking for something fast and delightful.

I should mention that this is an excellent breakfast recipe if you are looking to lose weight, but even if you are not trying to loose weight this is a tasty recipe to include to your breakfast routines.

Try it out yourself!



Chia porridge:
1 3/4 cups (400 ml) almond milk or coconut milk if it’s for a dessert
3 Tbsp chia seeds
2 Tbsp ground flaxseeds
A generous handful almonds or hazelnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp ground vanilla
Fruit – banana, berries, mango, avocado, pomegranate, kiwi, apple etc.
Dried fruit
Extra crunch – nuts & seeds, coconut, cocoa nibs, bee pollen etc.


Prepare the porridge the night before.
Mix all the porridge ingredients together in a container, cover, and place in the fridge.
Give it a stir or two in the evening and let it soak overnight.
In the morning divide your porridge into two bowls.
Top the porridge with the topping you prefer - here you can really get creative!
The porridge keeps well for 2-3 days in the fridge.
