Easy Moisture Mask

If you want your skin to look young and radiant, the key is to moisturize, moisturize and moisturize! When the skin is hydrated and nourished it gets fewer lines and wrinkles.

People have always commented on my youthful appearance. While I’ve always credited genetics, I’ve come to realize that there is a lot you can do to enhance those even further.

Most important for your skin is how you treat it on a daily basis.

Your face must be cleansed and moisturized every morning and evening. And you should use products and ingredients that fit your skin’s needs. For that, you need to know if your skin is dry, sensitive, normal, oily or a combination skin.

This mask can be used for all skin types. I recommend using this or any other moisture mask at least once a week to give your skin that little extra moisture to maintain a youthful appearance.

This is my go-to mask – I simply love it! My skin just feels so soft and smooth after a pampering with this mask. Plus, it’s super easy to make and I always have these ingredients in the kitchen.

 

Active ingredients

Banana

The banana has healing qualities and is moisturizing, nourishing and soothing for the skin.
It is abundant in vitamins and minerals that help to strengthen the skin.
Its high vitamin C content aids the skin’s healing of acne and skin pigmentation.

 

Honey

Honey has cleansing, moisturizing, nourishing and soothing qualities and it has been used for centuries for its anti-aging effects.
Not only does it have high levels of vitamins and minerals, but it also has antibacterial effects which aid in skin’s healing.

 

Moisture Mask

1 TSP Banana, mashed

1 TBSP Honey

Cleanse your face and neck.
Preferably make a facial sauna to open the pores, so you can enjoy more of the moisturizing benefits from this mask.
After cleansing and steaming your face and neck, apply the mask and leave on for 20 minutes, while you relax.
Rinse with warm water.
